Alex Allen (b.1917) has been a stalwart member of the union
movement,the radical left, anarchist and communist
organizations since 1938. It often seems as though Alex has
more energy for marching, protesting and picketing then people
who are one quarter his age. This year Vancouver Industrial
Workers of the World has organized a party for this deserving
working class hero.
The party will feature the performances of two touring radical
riot folkers, Al Baker from Manchester UK and Cap'n Kop$ from
Montreal Quebec. If you like your folk music political and
telling, than you ought to come and enjoy the evening...and say
happy birthday to one of our greatest comrades in Vancouver.
