Problems at Work? Don't Fight Alone!

Disgruntled workers, don't miss the class that will change your life.

It's the "Introduction to the Industrial Workers of the World".

This interactive workshop draws upon your experiences as a worker to develop a unique perspective on how we go about solving our problems at work and building our power as workers.

Learn about:

  • different forms of unionism ("Service Unionism" and "Solidarity Unionism")
  • strategies for fighting back on the job (Labor Law & "Direct Action")
  • methods for building our power as a class of workers worldwide (Cross-Border Solidarity)
  • democratic and participatory traditions ("Rank and File Control")
  • and much more!

The 'Introduction class' promises to inspire you, to piss you off, and to arm you to change the way your boss does business.

The next two sessions are:

They are held at:

  • Bay Area IWW (Grassroots House)
  • 2022 Blake St. (West of Shattuck)
  • Berkeley, CA

The "Introduction to the IWW" class is hosted by the SF Bay Area Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World.

The Industrial Workers of the World is a democratic, self-organizing union open to all workers.  We organize on the job, in our industries, and in our communities. As we gain better working conditions today, we are building an economic democracy for tomorrow.
