GA is the first weekend in September.  If you're looking to book a ticket in advance, go ahead and book 1 to fly into Chicago on August 31 (possibly even August 30 if you can't get around it) or early morning September 1.  Your return date should be September 2 or 3.

The registration form for GA 2007 will be made available next month.  You can book your ticket now or whenever and send in the form once you get it in your GOB or through your ROC Secretary.

great stuff, thanks for the info jason. i'm pretty sure there'll be a few of us from BIROC coming along actually, including one ex-canadian defector wou could perhaps be classed as an 'honourary limey'.

i'll actually be in chicago from about the 26th or 27th august. not sure if anyone would really like me sleeping on their floor for a whole week! are there many youth hostels in chicago? not sure why i'm asking actually, i'm sure a quick google would do the trick...

anyway, i'm really looking forward to seeing new folks and checking out what's going on over your way. hope all's well

I'm working on finding a hall before you (and any Wobs) book a hostel.  I wouldn't want Wobs to stay somehwere that's out of the way from General Assembly.  The greater the travel time, the less time there will be for you and the other Wobs who are a brit different from us US Wobs to meet.
