FIRST FAIR TRADE POP-UP STORE IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES
Los Angeles, November 25th. The Garment Worker Center will open LA's
first Fair Trade pop-up store in the heart of the Garment District on
December 4th. The store, which will be open until the 11th of
December, will offer great gifts from all around the world.

All products sold in the store will be from Fair Trade cooperatives
and local artisans, guaranteeing fair wages and healthy working
environments to the workers who produce them as well as guilt-free
gifts for socially conscious consumers. Moreover, all proceeds from
the store will go to the Garment Worker Center, a local non-profit
organization that has been working with garment workers to fight
sweatshop conditions in LA's garment industry for the last seven
years.
