I'm going to take up Mick's suggestion and start an American thread:
1) Does the union have any sort of database concerning US labor law? Or better yet, a series of pamphlets to cover varying topics? If not not, we need to do that. Do we have legal consultation services as a union or any radical lawyers in the union? Perhaps we could contact the National Lawyers Guild or even the ACLU?
2) To what degree is labor law covered in the organizer trainings?
3) A specific one (and one i've seen come up again and again): If and employer overpays an employee for any reason, to what degree (if at all) is the employee responsible for paying the money back if the employer realizes the discrepancy?
