Utah Phillips Memorial Start: 2:00 pm End: 4:00 pm A public memorial for Bruce "Utah" Phillips, who died Friday night, will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Nevada City Little League field in Pioneer Park. Phillips was a big baseball fan and regularly attended the Little League games in the park. “He was a fixture at the games,” said Cindy Maple, executive director of Hospitality House and a friend of Phillips. The memorial is expected to last two hours.
