Reasons to create a union

Dear Co-Workers,

One of the main reasons the idea of a union is discriminated against is because corporations are meant to solely benefit the shareholder. Unless your a large shareholder the corporation will not work for the benefit of you.

A union is one way to collectively bargain for your rights as a worker; it establishes respect for you. Take these facts from the AFL-CIO into consideration:
On average, union workers’ wages are 28 percent higher than their nonunion counterparts. While only 15 percent of nonunion workers have guaranteed pensions, fully 69 percent of union workers do. Four out of five union workers get health insurance benefits, but only half of nonunion workers do. Unions help employers create a more stable, productive workforce—where workers have a say in improving their jobs.

A union works for the employee. Your voice cannot be heard without a union. The CEO and miscellaneous executives are lining their pockets at the expense of your continued exploitation while increasing shareholder profits. Its time you voice your opinion! Demand a union!
