A discussion with IWW organizers Alexandra Svoboda and Jason Friedmutter, assisted by Justin Kelley.

Violent police in Providence, Rhode Island attacked a peaceful union march all three speakers were participating in. Demonstrators were marching against a restaurant selling supplies produced by the sweatshop HWH/Dragonland, which responded to an organizing drive by the Industrial Workers of the World with lockouts and illegal union-busting. The police arrested Alex and Jason, severely injured Alex, and charged both with felonies to justify the police's crimes. Alex and Jason will be speaking at Binghamton University about their experience and related issues of class and state violence.

Organized by the Binghamton Education Workers Union (IWW) and the Graduate Vice President for Multicultural Affairs.
