2007 “Training For Trainers” - IWW Organizing Committee
Hosted by the IWW Organizer Training Program and the Madison GMB
The Organizer Training Program of the IWW will be hosting our annual “Training for Trainers” meeting this year in Madison, WI. This leadership training helps to prepare and train future trainers for the program. The weekend aims to bring together experienced trainers and organizers along with members who have participated in past trainings and are workplace and campaign leaders. Participants will practice, review and discuss our training curriculum in a collective process, learning from each other. Attendance of a previous Organizer Training is highly recommended, though not required. A very limited amount of travel subsidy is available from the OTC but we also ask participants to have their local branches contribute towards their travel costs.
This “Training for Trainers” will be unique in that it will be joined by wobblies from across the numerous Mid-West branches and groups.
In order to get the cheapest flights, we recommend flying into Milwaukee, WI during the afternoon and early evening of Friday, May 18th and contact us to arrange for Chicago wobblies to pick you up and take to Madison (which is a one hour drive).
If you would like to attend, or would like more information, please contact a member of the Organizer Training Committee. Please answer the questions below so that we know a little bit people interested in attending. An RSVP is essential for the committee to know how many individuals will be attending.
