Roberto Clemente Bridge leafleting and carnival preparations

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than talking about sweatshops on Roberto Clemente Bridge!

From 6 until 10 members of PASCA will be near the Roberto Clemente Statue at PNC Park with our new leaflets to build for the All Star Game Anti Sweatshop Carnival.  We'll take a trip into the Pirates Gear Shop to update our data base of All Star apparel so we can finish preparing worker testimony for the All Star Anti Sweatshop Carnival.  We'll have the 18 inch by 18 inch signs that are legal in the security zone.  We'll be talking about the recent victories in Bangladesh and the strategies for the GLOBAL apparel industry organizing drive.  We'll design more carnival activities that demonstrate the strategies that will make the GLOBAL apparel industry drive a success.  Yes We Can! and Yes We Do have a Civil Rights Bridge from PNC Park to the Floor of the Global Sweatshop.
