Twin Cities General Memberhsip Branch Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Twin Cities General Membership Branch
of the IWW – the Industrial Workers of the World - will be held Thursday,
July 6, at 7 p.m. at the Jack Pine Collective, 2815 East Lake Street in Minneapolis
All workers and students, employed or otherwise, are welcome at the monthly
meeting of the Twin Cities GMB. The branch is busy building organizing
campaigns among retail and education workers, while promoting shop floor
democracy and rank-and-file militancy around the Twin Cities. We're hosting
a large festival celebrating the culture and history of the Wobblies this
summer, We'll talk more about past/future national days of action and follow-up on organizing contacts.
The IWW is a union dedicated to making the world a better place for all by
building solidarity and class consciousness across industries and borders.
We organize all workers on the job into one union, rather than dividing
workers by trade. If you'd like to learn more about the One Big Union or
how to solve problems at your job, please call (612) 339-4418 or email
twincities@iww.org.
