Books Published by Charles H Kerr:

Charles H Kerr Publishing Company is one of the oldest, continuously running, workered-owned book publishing company. It is perhaps one of the best single sources for authentic IWW history and critical study. Some of their publications are almost a century old, whereas others have been published within the last year. All of them are just as relevant today as they were a century ago.

Titles include Rebel Voices: An IWW Anthology, Joe Hill: The IWW and the Making of a Revolutionary Workingclass Counterculture, The IWW Little Red Songbook; 19th Edition, and much more, including books about Eugene Debs, Mother Jones, Covington Hall, Lucy Parsons, T-Bone Slim, Fred Thompson, Haymarket, BugHouse Square, and the IWW from its founding through the present day.

Books about the IWW and Individual Wobblies:

The IWW has a long and colorful history; it has defined much of the best parts of the labor movement and its culture in North America. While much of that has yet to be written, there is still a great deal of it in print, and we are proud to feature these books here.

Titles Include: Solidarity Forever: an Oral History of the IWW, Wobblies!; A Graphic History, The Truth about the Lynchlng of Frank Little, Elizabeth Gurley-Flynn's The Rebel Girl, Philip Foner's History of the Labor Movement in the United States vol. 4, Harvest Wobblies, Where the Fraser River Flows, Break Their Haughty PowerOil, Wheat, & Wobblies, and much more!

Books on Union Organizing and Labor Issues:

The IWW features a handful of books about general labor issues, including books about union organizing critical of mainstream business unionism, strategy and tactics, and some specific issues.

Books about Labor History:

We also feature many books about Labor History (other than our own), including many of the movements that led to the founding of the IWW.
