The Alliance for Sustainable Jobs and the Environment (ASJE) was created from the recognition that sustainable communities involve both the conservation of the natural world as well as nurturing the quality of human life. The Association for Union Democracy (AUD) is a pro-labor, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the principles and practices of democratic trade unionism in the North American labor movement. It is the premise of AUD that internal democracy makes unions stronger and better able to fight for the rights and interests of working people. We provide organizing, educational, and legal assistance to union members fighting for greater control of their unions. No other organization is dedicated solely to advancing the democratic rights of union members.

The CIW is a community-based worker organization. Our members are largely Latino, Haitian, and Mayan Indian immigrants working in low-wage jobs throughout the state of Florida.

The "Friends of Labor" web site exists to share local perspectives on issues of importance to the harbor community. We're family, friends, homeowners and business people from throughout the Los Angeles harbor area who support the tenants of "live better, work union, shop local." Our intentions are to provide factual information on the issues at hand, to respond to many of the misleading stories popping up on anti-labor web sites, and to offer an alternate opinion to articles in print publications that are under increasing influence from major retail groups.

Contract negotiations between the ILWU and Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) in 2002 are what inspired our group to form.

Increasingly, the name “Global Unions” is being used for the major institutions of the international trade union movement. Global Unions comprises:

• the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), which represents most national trade union centres. Most individual unions relate to the ICFTU through their national union centre.
  
• the ten Global Union Federations (GUFs),the international representatives of unions organising in specific industry sectors or occupational groups (EI, ICEM, IFJ, ITGLWF, PSI, ITF, IFBWW, IMF, IUF, & UNI – for full names, see below).
  
• the Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD

An individual union will usually belong to a national union centre in its country, which will then affiliate to a world body such as the ICFTU. The same individual union will also usually affiliate to a GUF relevant to the industry where it has members. Often, unions with members in many different industries will belong to more than one GUF.

Global Unions is also the name of this website, which is jointly owned and managed by the 12 Global Unions organisations.

The website gives its members the ability to draw the attention of their partners, their members, and the press to the news they produce and the campaigns they run.

 

The green labor center is an educational initiative of the Public Health Institute in cooperation with District 11 of the United Steelworkers.

ILA Rank and File is an organization of ILA members who came together around our recent contract negotiations to fight for a just contract.

The Independent Commission on Public Education (iCOPE) calls for the formation of an independent task force of parents, community members, students, teachers, principals, policy-makers, elected officials, scholars and business leaders that is free of political partisanship and control to shape a new common vision for our schools based on human rights. The independent task force will be charged with leading a civic conversation and inspiring the mobilization of the community to demand a restructuring of the school system.

ICE-UFT is a caucus within the United Federation of Teachers. We started as a diverse band of active and retired teachers who joined together in October 2003 to provide an alternative voice for school workers, addressing the deplorable conditions for teaching and learning in New York City, and exploring ways to make the UFT into a stronger and more democratic union.

The International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), was set up in 1949 and has 236 affiliated organisations in 154 countries and territories on all five continents, with a membership of 155 million, 40% of who are women.

It has three major regional organisations, APRO for Asia and the Pacific, AFRO for Africa, and ORIT for the Americas. It also maintains close links with the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) (which includes all ICFTU European affiliates) and Global Union Federations, which link together national unions from a particular trade or industry at international level.

The Declaration Anarchism in the 21st Century and the International Libertarian projects are open to anarchist, anarcho-syndicalist, revolutionary syndicalist, and clearly anti-Statist, non-party aligned social organisations which run along libertarian principles.

Labor Union Resources is designed to provide help to U.S. Workers in their efforts at organizing themselves and their co-workers into labor unions.  It is also a resource for Union Leaders to assist in their operations, organizing, and bargaining efforts.

During November 2005 the both organisations i.e. APFOL & APFUTU has decided that they continue their struggle through joint hands. Also they will fight for the elimination of Child Labour, Forced/Bonded Labour, and poverty.

We know for certain that this is a fraud and have suspected same for a number of years.
