THIS IS A TEST OF THE EMERGANCY BROADCAST SYSTEM

The International Solidarity Commission (ISC) recognizes that workers international solidarity, human rights and workers dignity transcend national boarders. Free workers unions and other social, religious, and cultural institutions created by people independent of state intervention or influence are the basic foundation upon which a free and non-exploitative society can be built.

In furthering the goal of building a society based on workers' solidarity, direct action, and workers' democratic self-management, the ISC has been supporting the creation of ties to the developing self-managed/non-state aligned autonomous organizations and projects in Cuba.

While recognizing the good things have come from the Cuban Revolution, and in opposition to the Imperialist embargo on the people of Cuba, all Wobblies understand that Democracy in daily life is the core of our vision for a revolutionary society, and that public ownership becomes a fraud if decisions are made by distant bureaucrats or authoritarian managers. The ISC will always stand on the side of the Cuban workers in their struggle for more socialism and less bureaucracy. Adelante, revolucion!
